Lotus Blossom
Lotus Blossom, original one-of-a-kind, sculpted painted pendant with Bali silver beads and Swarovski crystals. There are many textures and layers in this piece and just subtle hints of color.

The textures, colors and shapes that compose my Jewelry of ART are clearly inspired by nature but I rarely plan a piece. I prefer to take a journey into creative bliss and be surprised with the outcome.
Sometimes the pieces are more literal, such as Lotus Blossom and Rebirth or they can be abstract as with Verdant Bliss. There is no consistent path, sometimes shapes follow color or color inspires form. But the rhythmic, musical and undulating shapes of petals, leaves, and shells are never distant from my mind's eye.
Rhythm throughout my pieces is important. I listen to classical music while creating art which also influences my mood and the way my hands react to the forming of the clay.
Rebirth
Rebirth, original one-of-a-kind, sculpted painted pendant with freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals. The simple and exquisite shape of the petal is accented by a a strand of pearls cascading down the center. To me this symbolizes rebirth or emergence.

When I add paint and powdered pigments and finally the crystal accents I always know when the piece is complete. My story has been told.
The final step is to create a positive affirmation card based on what the piece expresses to me. In the wearer's possession, when the piece is worn and the affirmation is read it becomes a very personal and empowering experience, I am told.
